External music database

Hi,

I explain my project and ask you if it's possible.

I'm working on a 1.6.1 version (I've got so many problem on newest versions).

I have 1 server for 1 client with a specific audio design. But I have not a speficic playlist or specific music for each one. I can have the same playlist on multiple server / client. I have to update music on each server and that's a long work.

Then myy question is :
is it possible to use an external server with a database with my songs and playlistes.
And multiple Airtimes which use this external source.
The best case should be : in the playlist manager, I select the songs hosted on my external server
