You're probably right. I got a mail yesterday from Nebojsa Grujic saying
that he thinks he know what is going wrong:

So hopefully this can be taken care of relatively soon. I'll keep you

It's not a pulseaudio - alsa conflict as I don't have pulseaudio
installed.
I'm thinking it is CC and not alsa, as I see campcaster-scheduler's cpu
usage is at 89% right now, with no sound playing.
