[campcaster-support] CPU always at 100% - CC 1.4 on Xubuntu 8.04.1 (hardy)

I installed Campcaster 1.4 (beta 2) under Xubuntu 8.04.1 (Hardy Heron)
on a AthlonXP 1500 + (1.3 GB) using the repository: deb
http://code.campware.org/ubuntu hardy main

I preferred Xubuntu which is lighter and faster than Ubuntu.

Campcaster seems to work normally at first sight but System monitor says
my CPU is working 100% all the time Campcaster either mounted or not,
and I see that the machine operates slowly.

Is it the fault of the use of Xubuntu in place of Ubuntu?
